SWING ALONG WITH A

"CHRISTMAS SONG"

The special charm of Christmas carols has lost none of its power over the centuries. Thus, even in the American swing era, "Christmas Carols" received much attention. Their lyrics evoked feelings of family closeness, contemplation, coziness by the burning fireplace or sang of the dreamy "Winter Wonderland".

At the end of 1941, the U.S. record label RCA released a first single with swinging Christmas music, which stayed at number 2 in the U.S. charts for 2 weeks: The "Glenn Miller & Orchestra" with "Jingle Bells" (A-side) and "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town" (B-side). The ice for this new genre of the record industry was broken and until today new releases of swinging Christmas music follow every year worldwide.

All variants - the classical or swinging ones - have one basic thing in common: THEY INVITE YOU TO SING ALONG.
And this becomes a very special pleasure when their rhythm makes your feet bounce and your fingers snap!

"SWING ALONG WITH A CHRISTMAS SONG" offers this pleasure, as ANNA LARSEN and TONY DANIELS, the two vocal soloists of the King Of Swing Orchestra, involve the audience in the vocal events, on the one hand as vocal soloists with tailor-made orchestral arrangements, and on the other hand as "audience choir leaders", connecting orchestra and concertgoers musically and vocally to a common Christmas concert experience.

Letzteres ist der Garant für ein erinnerungswürdiges, musikalisches Miteinander von Künstlern und Publikum.
